Annapurna Cultural Trek is one of the most popular and well-known treks in the Annapurna region. It gives great views of the Annapurna Himalayas. The Cultural Trek to Annapurna passes through the river valleys, rhododendron and orchid bushes, Patchwork valleys, dense mossy forests, past waterfalls where we can stop to cool you, fascinating traditional Gurung villages at Dhampus & Ghandrung a nice opportunity to witness the culture and tradition of Nepalese countryside in Annapurna midhill around. In this cultural trek you can have the tormenting sight of the high mountains, whole horizons of which will be exposed to us as we reach the high points of your trek. In this Cultural Trek to Annapurna you can see the Gurung, Magar and Brahmin villages where we get nearby into their cultural, social practices.
The trek is an inspiring event when we are exposed to a mixed population of people with distinctive culture. You can explore the scenic and magnificent beauty of the rich Nature and culture.The cultural trek start from Birethanti and ends at Phedi. Along the trek you will pass through Nepal’s famous Gurung Village Ghandruk which provides you magnificent views of Macchapuchre (Fishtail), Annapurna south and Hiunchuli. In a short period, you can experience the colorful culture of these people and most of all you meet Buddhist and Hindus living in harmony and peace. The main occupations of locals here are agriculture, animal husbandry and tourism.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport.Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02:Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. About 6 hours. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03:Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1 hour)and Trek to Ulleri (2100m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 04:Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2860m).Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 05:Early morning hiking to Poonhill (3210m) and trek to Tadapani (2610m). About 6 hours.Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 06:Trek from Tadapani (2610m) to Chhomrong (2170m). About 4 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 07:Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan (2500m). About 6 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 08:Trek from Dovan to Deurali (3230m). About 5 hours.Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 09:Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) via Machhapuchare Base Camp (3700m). About 5-6 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 10:Trek back from Annapurna Base Camp to Bambo (2500m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 11:Trek back to Jhinu Danda (1780m). Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 12:Trek from Jhinu danda(Natural hot spring) to Landrung. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 13:Trek from Landrung to Dhampus. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 14:Trek from Dhampus to Phedi. Drive to Pokhara.

Day 15:Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. About 6 hours. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16:Transfer to the International Airport for your onward destination.


  • Arrival picks up from airport and drop to airport in final departure.
  • Twin sharing basis accommodation at 3 star category hotel in Kathmandu (2 nights) & Pokhara (2 nights) with breakfast.
  • All accommodations in lodges/tea houses during the treks on twin sharing basis.
  • Your standard meals during the trip with hot tea/coffee in breakfast .
  • All necessary paper works and Trekking permit.
  • Ground transportation from Kathmandu – Pokhara - Kathmandu by tourist bus.
  • An experienced, helpful and friendly guide and porters (1 porter for 2 peoples).
  • Salary, Food, Drinks, Accommodation, Transportation and Insurance for the Guide, sherpa and Porter.
  • Arrangement of Emergency Helicopter service which will be paid by your Travel insurance company.
  • Lovely Nepal sleeping bag, down jackets & duffle bag if necessary.
  • All government taxes & service charges.


  • Nepal entry visa fee which you may easily issue the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport  Kathmandu. You will require 3 passport size photos.
  • Lunch & Dinner while you are in Kathmandu & Pokhara.
  • Your Travel insurance ( compulsory).
  • All the alcoholic, Hot & cold drinks.
  • International airfare and airport departure tax.
  • Tips for the guide, porter & driver. (Tipping is expected).
  • Any others expenses which are not mentioned on including sections.

Trip Note

The environmental, political and several other factors that are beyond the control of our team might be the hindrances in the trip. It is quite unusual for the alteration of whole itinerary; however, these factors can be responsible for the change and improvisation of the proposed itinerary. In such cases, the group leader or the trekking guide would decide the best alternative possible and try to minimize the problem as per the group’s interest. However, the company would not be responsible for the result of the alternatives and change in the suggested itinerary.

In case of health problems:

In case of altitude sickness and other health hazards during the trip, Lovely Nepal can charter a helicopter for you. In the case that you use this service, you can do the payment at our office. The payment receipt will be provided so that you can claim the amount from insurance.
